Super 12 reels

In an effort to further streamline our product lineup, we’ve decided to discontinue the Super 12 reel.

We’re finding the majority of anglers are using thin diameter backing for the larger species being fished with this size reel and may not require the capacity of the current Super 12 spool. We’ll continue to produce both the Super Series 12X large arbor and standard arbor (formerly #4.5N) spool.

All are priced at 25% off while supplies last.

Super 5 and Big Game #2 reels

With the introduction of our Super 5N design in 2007 we were up to about 6 different Abel reel models that balance with a 5 or 6 weight rod. We enjoy offering choices, but that’s just too many reels in our line that cover the identical range.

Something had to go, so we decided it’s the large arbor Super 5 reel, and the interchangeable standard arbor Big Game #2 reel.

We currently have a limited number of Super 5 reels in black, solid color, and custom graphic finishes. The Big Game #2 reel is only available in standard high gloss, and matte black.

All are priced at 25% off while supplies last.
