The Super Series 7/8 model Quick Change fly reel by Borski will be numbered from 1-100 with a laser engraved signature of the artist.

The new 9.1-ounce Abel Quick Change or QC model reel is the latest concept in reel design. Spool change is accomplished virtually instantaneously by backing off the drag knob, pushing in and rotating the reel’s center cap. No tools are required for the fastest and easiest change of any reel in the fly-fishing industry.

Borski, a university-trained artist who grew up fishing for Wisconsin small¬mouth bass with casting tackle, now gives talks on saltwater fly-fishing at the International Game Fish Association and other venues. His contemporary paintings are collected by anglers and birding enthusiasts and are displayed in galleries from Key West to Japan.

Years of testing and engineering have produced the Super Series Quick Change (QC) reel. Simply back off the drag knob, push in and rotate the center cap for quickest spool release in the industry.

The large arbor Abel Super 3N & 4N are the ultimate reel for the small- to medium-sized spring creek and technical meadow stream trout angler. 

The reel is also available as a standard arbor model with the FlexABELity to interchange frames/spools with the large arbor version. 

At 4.2 & 4.6 ounces, the Super 3N - 4N reels are the lightest and narrowest reels in the Super Series.
