For a number of years, our award-winning Abel Anti/Reverse reels have featured round ventilation holes. They are the finest, lightest weight A/R reels made. But, in an effort to attain uniformity in all Abel Reels (and make them a teeny bit lighter), all future Abel Anti/Reverse reels will be made with oblong ventilation holes identical to our Super Series reels.
Bottom line: Our remaining inventory of “old style” rounded hole A/R reels are now discounted a full 25%. Reels are offered on a first-come, first-served basis; and when they’re gone, they’re gone forever.
Please note that these Standard Arbor frames will interchange with Large Arbor models, thereby doubling your options on line sizes.
